He also reveals what makes a good pitch, what makes somewhere a great place to work and who and how to hire.

Thanks to the strict work ethic of his immigrant parents, DAVE BUONAGUIDI was sent out to work at a young age. Starting his career at TBWA in the heady days of the mid 80s, he has been working at the forefront of British advertising for over 30 years, in various small agencies, multinationals and start-ups. He has co-founded agencies including St. Luke's, the co-operative creative agency named `the most dangerous company on earth' by The Harvard Business Review and Campaign Agency of the Year in 1997, and Karmarama, which became Marketing Week Agency of The Year 2011. It was here that he created the iconic MAKE TEA NOT WAR poster for the Stop the War Coalition. Dave was Creative Director for Channel4 for a time, managing advertising across the channel and setting up the acclaimed in-house agency 4Creative. In 2017 he co-founded Unltd-Inc to work with start-up businesses launching their own products. Since 2014 he has built a successful career as an artist and screen printer. He presented his TEDx talk `Be the driver, not the passenger' in 2018.
