Meet Ade Adepitan: Book Signing for Battle of the Cyborg Cat

Saturday 2nd June 2018 2:30pm - 4pm Westfield Stratford City Signing, Children's Event

Calling all superheroes! Meet Ade Adepitan as he signs debut children's book Ade's Amazing Ade-ventures: Battle of the Cyborg Cat.

Ade is the new kid on Parsons Road. He knows he should make an effort and make some friends but it's not easy when you look different to everyone else. It's only when Ade sees off some bullies that Dexter, Brian and Shed realize who Ade really is: their new friend, part cyborg, part footballing genius and all hero. Over the summer, the boys' days are filled with adventure and laughter but the first day of school is not far away and things are about to change forever...

Ade is a former Paralympic basketballer, a member of the team winning Bronze at the 2004 Athens Paralympics and Gold at the 2005 Paralympic World Cup in Manchester. He is often on our screens, presenting everything from documentaries like Unreported World to the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro to Children in Need. He was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to disability sport in 2005.
