NHS 70th: Christie Watson and Suzanne O’Sullivan in conversation

Wednesday 4th July 2018 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Signing, Chargeable Event

Former nurse and author of heartfelt medical memoir The Language of Kindness Christie Watson reflects on her experience of life in the NHS and the issues facing it today with neurologist and author of It's All in Your Head and Brainstorm Suzanne O'Sullivan.

Arguably no single institution has shaped the face of Britain like the NHS. From politics to its impact on the lives of everyday people, its past is a part of our DNA, and its future is a topic that divides opinion like no other.

On this landmark anniversary Christie and Suzanne come together to give you their perspective from having lived and worked at the heart of the organisation on the issues facing it today and the possible solutions to securing its future.
